CHEERLEADING

We are proud to offer five cheer squads for children ages 5–13. Each squad consists of up to 25 athletes and is organized by age. Please note that team placement may vary each season based on enrollment numbers, team sizes, and skill level. In some cases, athletes may be moved to a different squad to ensure the best experience and development opportunity for all participants.

Season Timeline:
Our season officially begins July 15 with two weeks of conditioning to build strength, stamina, and teamwork.

Beginning August 8, our squads will cheer on their respective football teams. Games are held on Saturdays and may require local travel for away games.

As we move into September, practices will shift toward competition preparation, with a focus on stunting, choreography, and dance technique.

Competition Season:
Our teams will compete in the Mid Florida Cheer Competition held at the end of October.

Teams placing 1st or 2nd will advance to Regionals, held during Thanksgiving weekend.

Any teams placing 1st or 2nd at Regionals will move on to compete at Nationals in December.

Important Information:

Each cheer family will receive a Cheer Packet at registration, which includes detailed information regarding schedules, expectations, requirements, and important dates for the season.

We are excited to welcome back our returning families and look forward to meeting all of our new members as we begin another incredible season with Harmony Youth Football & Cheer!
