2024 REGISTRATION FOR FALL TACKLE & CHEER IS OPEN!

We are extremely excited to invite you to register for our 2024 Fall tackle football and cheerleading season! Please note: registration is first come, first serve. 

Football - $375

• Football Registration includes helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey, game pants, practice jersey, practice pants, game day film, and mouth piece. All parents have to provide is their own cleats & specific mouth piece if they choose.

Cheer - $375

• Cheer Registration includes uniform, game day bow, breast cancer awareness bow, competition fees, competition music, and practice t-shirt to represent our amazing sponsors!

*Full Refunds through July 31st minus the cost of uniforms.

Partial Refund of 50% from July 31st-August 15th.
*Special Circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis by the executive board*

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS:

All participants MUST have a picture uploaded during registration. Head shot only. No face coverings or glasses and please use a solid background.
  1. 2024 Player/Participant Contract -Completed in FULL and signed by a PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN as well as the PARTICIPANT.
  2. 2024 Medical History Form - THIS IS NEW. It will take the place of a yearly physical. ALL ATHLETES must submit a medical history form dated after January 1st of the current year and MUST be on the Pop Warner Physical form. 
  3. 2024 Physical Form - FOR NEW ATHLETES ONLY! This form is required for all new athletes joining the Longhorn family. Physicals are valid for TWO years now. 
  4. Legible copy of birth certificate
  5. Copy of insurance card (front and back)
  6. Two (2) copies of proof of residency - copies MUST be 2 different forms of proof (photo ID, Utility bill, Insurance statement, etc...) Address MUST match the address provided on registration documentation. All children MUST have a picture uploaded during registration (head shot, no face coverings or glasses) use a solid background.
  7. THREE COPIES OF REPORT FROM 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

  6. Two (2) forms of Proof of Residency. Address must match the address provided on the initial registration forms and the online registration.
  7. 2024 Homeschool Form - Your child must also sign it or it cannot be accepted. Please note the dates on the top of the form for a progress report that must also be submitted later in the season by all homeschoolers in order to continue participating. More details will be provided later for the progress report by the Scholastics Lead. 
  8. Proof of Enrollment (state or county form). There are three options that qualify as your Proof of Enrollment: 
  • 1. Annual Evaluation by a certified teacher -  it must have the teacher's name, signature, and their certificate expiration date. It must be dated for the most recent school year.
  • 2. Home Education Verification Letter/Email from school district - this is an official document that was emailed to you after you sent your Letter of Intent.
  • 3. Status Letter from school district  - you can email the SDOC homeschool records clerk and request a Status Letter. The letter needs to state: student first and last name, DOB, and state "I understand that there will be identifiable information in the returning email." The school district will then email the Status Letter to them.*

*Please note that the School District of Osceola County is a separate entity from our organization.

*If your child is enrolled in an umbrella school, please follow the directions for private school students above.

Homeschoolers are no longer required to provide report cards unless they want to be eligible for Pop Warner All-American. Parents/guardians can submit a report card that has been certified by the school district in order to be eligible.

Report Cards for Public School, Private School, & Homeschoolers must meet the following requirements in order to be accepted:

  • The report card must contain the name of the school.
  • The school year (2023-2024)
  • Child's first and last name (must be the same name as listed on your child's birth certificate)
  • The grade level most recently completed.
  • Grades that reflect at minimum the last two quarters of grades.
  • A statement on the report card that the child has been promoted to the next grade level.
  • The report card must not be a screen shot or a photo or a minimized image.
  • Must be legible with nothing cut off or obscured.
  • Must have complete information for the entire year.
  • If report card is not complete, player will be placed on Scholastic Eligibility status.

These scholastic requirements are mandated for all leagues nationally. Pop Warner is a non-profit organization. It is first and foremost a scholarship program and all participants must abide by their rules to participate. HYFC and all other leagues are bound by these rules.
