2022 FALL SEASON

Divisions for football will no longer be based on players age and weight. The divisions will now be by age only. Ages will still be based on league age as of July 31, 2022. Divisions are separated as follows with no weight restrictions:

**FOOTBALL AGES**

6U (ages 5-6)
8U (ages 7-8)
10U (ages 8-9-10)
12U (ages 10-11-12)
14U (ages 12-13-14)

**CHEER AGES**

Tiny Mite - 5, 6, 7,8 & 9  
Junior PeeWee - 8,9,10 & 11 
PeeWee - 9,10,11 & 12  
 


REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOL STUDENTS:

***All registration forms must be filled out in BLACK INK.***

 

  • 2022 Participant Contract/Parental Consent - completed in FULL and signed by a PARENT or LEGAL GUARDIAN as well as the PARTICIPANT
  • 2022 Pop Warner Physical Form - dated after January 1st of that current year and MUST be on the Pop Warner Physical form
  • Legible copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of insurance card (front and back)
  • Two (2) copies of proof of residency - copies MUST be 3 different forms of proof (photo ID, Utility bill, Insurance statement, etc...) Address MUST match the address provided on registration documentation. 
  • All children MUST have a picture uploaded during registration (head shot, no face coverings or glasses) use a solid background.
  • THREE COPIES OF REPORT FROM 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

    Report Cards for Public School, Private School, & Homeschoolers must meet the following requirements in order to be accepted:

    • The report card must contain the name of the school.
    • The school year (2021-2022)
    • Your child's first and last name (it must be the same name as listed on your child's birth certificate)
    • The grade level most recently completed.
    • Grades that reflect at minimum the last two quarters of grades.
    • A statement on the report card that the child has been promoted to the next grade level.
    • The report card must not be a screen shot or a photo or a minimized image.
    • It must be legible with nothing cut off or obscured.
    • You must have complete information for the entire year.
    • If report card is not complete, player will be placed on Scholastic Eligibility status.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS:

  • 2022 Participant Contract/Parental Consent
  • 2022 Pop Warner Physical Form
  • Legal copy of birth certificate
  • Copy of insurance card. (front and back)
  • Two (2) forms of Proof of Residency. Address must match the address provided on the initial registration forms and the online registration.
  • All participants MUST have a picture uploaded during registration. Head shot only. No face coverings or glasses. Please use a solid background
  • 2022 Homeschool FormYour child must also sign it or it won't be accepted. Please note the dates on the top of the form for a progress report that must also be submitted later in the season by all homeschoolers in order to continue participating. More details will be provided later for the progress report by the Scholastics Lead. 
  • Proof of Enrollment (state or county form). There are three options that qualify as your Proof of Enrollment: 
    1. Annual Evaluation by a certified teacher -  it must have the teacher's name, signature, and their certificate expiration date. It must be dated for the most recent school year.
    2. Home Education Verification Letter/Email from school district - this is an official document that was emailed to you after you sent your Letter of Intent.
    3. Status Letter from school district  - you can email the SDOC homeschool records clerk and request a Status Letter. The letter needs to state: student first and last name, DOB, and state "I understand that there will be identifiable information in the returning email." The school district will then email the Status Letter to them.
  •  Please note that the School District of Osceola County is a separate entity from our organization.
  • If your child is enrolled in an umbrella school, please follow the directions for private school students above.

Homeschoolers are no longer required to provide report cards unless they want to be eligible for Pop Warner All-American. Parents/guardians can submit a report card that has been certified by the school district in order to be eligible.


These scholastic requirements are mandated for all leagues nationally. Pop Warner is a non-profit organization. It is first and foremost a scholarship program and all participants must abide by their rules to participate. HYFC and all other leagues are bound by these rules.

*** REFUND REQUESTS: Requests for refunds must be submitted to the HYFC Board NO LATER THAN 08/01/2022 in order to receive a 100% refund. All refund requests received AFTER 08/01/2022 are eligible for a 50% refund. NO REFUND requests will be accepted after 08/20/2022. Please send requests to [email protected] ***
